How to Rearrange your Wedding Day

The global pandemic currently doing the rounds has caused enormous consequences for every part of our daily life – from trips to the shops, going out for a bite to eat at a restaurant or even just popping over to visit family they are all off the cards at the moment. This is the small everyday events but what if you have been planning a large event such as a wedding?

If you have had to postpone your wedding, then first things first – don’t panic! It is easy to get caught up in a whirl with everything going on. Create a checklist of things that you need to rearrange and just work through it bit by bit. Don’t feel any pressure on when to change it to – this is entirely the choice for you to make.

Once you have spoken to suppliers, venues etc, let your guests know it is cancelled – a simple change the date card will be enough and of course they will understand! This is also a good opportunity for you to change any of the details that you were not happy with – if you see it in a positive light, you now have a ‘test run’ experience so now you know a bit more about what you are doing when it comes to the planning.

For example you might fancy a change of venue, or a change in style – you may want to hold an open air reception and use mobile bar hire Stroud company https://www.wearethemoversandshakers.com/mobile-bar-hire-gloucestershire/ to provide drinks, or maybe you want to make it a bigger event and hold it somewhere like https://www.clearwell-castle.co.uk/ to make a day nobody will forget!
