Lockdown Cocktails to Keep you Sane

Although we are all locked in our houses at the moment due to the global pandemic, there have been a lot of creative ideas going around online and on social media from beating boredom with creative garden projects, to turning your home into a disco, people are trying their best to make this crazy period of time a little more tolerable. If you are feeling the lockdown blues and want nothing more to head over to nightclub Cheltenham based Coco, over to the local pub, or catch up with your friends at a trendy bar, here are a few cocktail recipes that will bring the joy of going out to you, and until we can all be together again, why not enjoy with a group of friends over a Zoom call?

Fill your cocktail shaker with ice, pour in all of the ingredients, stir them (rather than shake them) then pour into martini glasses. You can also add a dash of the syrup from the cherries if you like a sweeter taste.

Pina Colada – A holiday favourite, many of us won’t be getting holidays this year, but bring the beach to you with this delicious recipe!

60ml white rum

60ml coconut cream

120ml pineapple juice

A small paper umbrella to present it in true holiday style!

Put all the ingredients into a blender with ice and blend! If you want a really thick and luxurious drink, add a bit of vanilla ice cream! Serve in a tall glass – Perfect!
