If you’re looking for professional installers to insulate your loft, you can check out the National Insulation Association website. NIA members will follow its code of professional practice. Loft insulation should be at least 270mm deep according to current government recommendations, as this will ensure that it allows adequate ventilation. Insulating your loft too thickly may trap moisture and encourage mould. Therefore, the best way to make sure your loft is well-insulated is to hire a specialist insulation contractor.
